Alison C. Nash, MD
A native St. Louisian, Dr. Alison C. Nash is a product of St. Louis public schools graduating from Northwest High School in 1973. She went on to attend Howard University in Washington D.C. graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry. Dr. Nash was awarded the Armed Forces Health Professions Scholarship which enabled her to attended Baylor College of Medicine and earn a Doctor of Medicine degree. She entered the United States Navy as an Ensign. During her eleven years of service she completed Pediatric Residency Training at Naval Hospital Oakland, California, served as Director of the Pediatric Clinic, Naval Station Treasure Island, California and was staff pediatrician at Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan and attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Upon completion of service in the US Navy Dr. Nash joined her father Dr. Homer Nash’s pediatric practice which was established in 1955 and located in North St. Louis.
Dr. Nash is Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and licensed by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners and Missouri Board of Medical Examiners.
Dr. Nash’s life, pediatric practice and community involvement testify to her commitment to improving children’s health. She has been in pediatric practice in St. Louis and a member of the Medical Staff of St. Louis Children’s Hospital since 1989. Dr. Nash is also a preceptor for the Community Outpatient Practice Experience (COPE) program providing primary care training for St. Louis Children’s Hospital pediatric residents since 1994. She served as president-elect of the Medical Staff from 2007-2009 and president from 2009-2011. Dr. Nash served as the community physician representative on the Executive Faculty Council of Washington University School of Medicine from 2012-2014.
In 2014 Dr. Nash was appointed Medical Director of Healthy Kids Express, a community outreach program of St. Louis Children’s Hospital and BJC.
Dr. Nash completed the CORO Women in Leadership program in 1991. In 1999 she was named Community Advocate of the Year by St. Louis Children’s Hospital and was recognized by Focus St. Louis “What’s Right with the Region” for “Creating Positive Environments for Children and Youth”. In 2012 she received the Stellar Performer in Healthcare award from the St. Louis American foundation and the Lifetime Achievement award from the St. Louis Gateway Classic Sports Foundation. In February 2015, Dr. Nash received the Lifetime Achievement-Community Service Award from the Montfort Pointe Marine Association, St. Louis Chapter.
Dr. Nash is a member of the Mound City Medical Forum and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Nash is active with the Boy Scouts of America; she served as a Cub Scout Den Leader from 2004-2009. She serves on the Advocacy Board of the Family Resource Center, an agency that provides programs to prevent and treat all forms of child abuse and neglect.
Dr. Nash is married to Clarence Dula and has four children. She enjoys reading with her Book Club, cooking with and for her family and is looking forward to being a grandmother!

Andrea Mouldon, RN, PNP
Andrea Mouldon has been at Nash Pediatrics since 2011. Prior to becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Mouldon worked as an RN for 19 years, including 12 years at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. She is also a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP).
Mouldon finds working with children every day to be a privilege, and working with adorable kids is her favorite part of her job.
Her goal is to provide compassionate, competent care to patients and families and to educate families and help them in their endeavor to raise happy, healthy children.
Andrea Mouldon lives in Glen Carbon, IL. She has 2 children (son Andrew and daughter Lydia), and in her free time enjoys spending time with her kids, going to their soccer games, scrapbooking, and exercising.
Andrea Mouldon earned her RN from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her PNP from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Dianne Schmidt, RN, PNP
Dianne Schmidt started at Nash Pediatrics in 1978. In high school, Schmidt knew she wanted to become a nurse. She completed her RN degree at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Alton, Illinois, and her early career focused on caring for children in hospital settings.
Schmidt’s work as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Hospital in St. Louis led her to pursue certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP). She applied to Washington University when they first started their program in 1977. Schmidt was accepted, completing her degree in 1978.
Dianne Schmidt is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Missouri Nurses Association, the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and the St. Louis Chapter of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
Dianne Schmidt says her favorite part of practicing pediatric medicine is listening to the concerns of parents and guardians, then creating a medical plan for them. She also enjoys the comments she hears from children. There are always surprises!
Schmidt has been married since 1968 and is the proud mother of two daughters and grandmother of two granddaughters. She enjoys gardening in her spare time.
